Glitter appeal to be heard this month
Disgraced British rocker Gary Glitter's appeal against his three-year child molestation sentence will reportedly be heard by a court on May 19 in Ho Chi Minh City, southern Vietnam.
A court official released the date to Vietnamese newspaper Thanh Nien.
The shamed 61-year-old singer, real name Paul Francis Gadd, was sentenced to three years behind bars in March, but he could be out of prison by Christmas if he is paroled.
The former glam rocker is set to appeal against the evidence used within the trial - claiming it was "unreliable" and "unreasonable".
