Lemming is an edge-of-the-seat-thriller

Asking the boss and his wife to dinner may not be the most brilliant of ideas … not when the wife is the dotty Alice - a wonderful contribution from Rampling - who contrives to wreck the party with embarrassing ease.

Even worse is to come when she later tries to seduce the boss (Lucas) and follows that up by telling his wife (Gainsbourg) … and then shooting herself in the upstairs bedroom. Dinner guests can be such a trial! We have here a dark and complex tale of dysfunction, with the sort of cunning plot you have to keep on top of at every second.

A fine, edge-of-the-seat thriller.
