Velvet Revolver star denies rehab rumours

Velvet Revolver star Duff McKagan has dismissed reports he recently attended a rehabilitation programme in Washington State, insisting he was simply holidaying in the area.

The bassist was photographed in Seattle and subsequent reports claimed he had been admitted to a nearby clinic, specialising in addiction treatment.

A memo posted by the band's webmaster on the its internet site, velvet-revolver.com, reads: "Duff just wanted me to let everyone know that this rumour is as far from the truth as possible. He's enjoying some spring break time off with his family at the moment."
