It's official: Pumpkins reform

The Smashing Pumpkins have finally confirmed they are reuniting, following months of speculation, and are ready to record their sixth studio album.

Frontman Billy Corgan, who has remained friends with former drummer Jimmy Chamberlain and second bassist Melissa Auf Der Maur, has not yet confirmed the latest line-up.
