BBC criticised over DJ salaries

The BBC has been criticised by commercial radio’s trade body following the disclosure of the salaries of Radio 2 DJs, with Terry Wogan said to be on £800,000 (€1.2m) a year.

Chris Evans is being paid £540,000 (€781,200) to take over Johnnie Walker’s Drivetime slot from today, according to the report in The Daily Mirror.
