Dancing is in, it’s everywhere: on our stages, on our screens, on the tele (even in the adverts), down the local Roxy.

And it’s here, in the true story of a former professional ballroom dancer (Banderas) who offered to teach the finer steps in the rough and tumble NY public school system.

It’s a conventional, though ultimately uplifting storyline of vastly different and differing culture backgrounds coming together, not without difficulty, to create a new and exciting form of dance.

Banderas is excellent and is fully partnered by a fine cast in one of those films you feel good after watching.
