Writer-director Dermot Doyle's debut feature Hill 16 has triumphed at the recent Cherbourg British and Irish Film Festival as the Young People's Choice Best Film.

The film was made in Dublin, Meath and Wicklow on a very modest budget with no crew and just one camera.
