Actor Antonio Banderas has dismissed ongoing speculation his wife Melanie Griffith is dependent on alcohol.

The actress prompted furious debate after a photo of her attending an Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meeting appeared on the front cover of the National Enquirer recently.
