Moses named after Coldplay song

Gwyneth Paltrow has given birth to a baby boy, her second child with singer Chris Martin.

The actress welcomed the tot, a younger brother for 23-month-old Apple, at an unknown location over the weekend, Paltrow's representative has confirmed.

The couple have named their son Moses, after a song Coldplay frontman Martin wrote for his wife and which appeared on the British band's Live 2003 album, according to reports.

Paltrow only confirmed she was pregnant in January after months of speculation. At the same time the actress' mother Blythe Danner hinted the couple were planning another unusual name for their second child. She said: "We love unusual names in the family."

Paltrow, 33, and Martin, 29, married in a secret ceremony in December 2003.
