Goldberg's grandkids beg for Idol access
Ghost star Whoopi Goldberg's grandchildren are begging her to use her influence to get them tickets to their favourite show - American Idol.
The star has two granddaughters, Amarah and Jerzey, who are obsessed with the show and they're desperate to see it in person.
She explains: "They suddenly realised that granny had some slippage (influence). So they said: 'We could go to American Idol, but we'd be way up in the back, but if you came with us, we could see the stage!'"
Goldberg wasn't keen on attending the show, but couldn't resist the persuasive pleas from her grandchildren.
She said: "So I went to American Idol. On country music night. I love country music, I was just not prepared for it at American Idol. It was a little different. It was a little peculiar."
