Blige wowed by 50 Cent's intelligence

Mary J Blige was so struck by how smart badboy rapper 50 Cent was on the set of her new single Enough Cryin' that she now considers him a permanent friend.

50 Cent, who stars as the R&B singer's boyfriend in the forthcoming promo, made an immediate impression on Blige.

She tells MTV.com: "Me and my husband took him as a friend. He's someone we know we could talk to and call on if we have a question because, quite frankly, 50 is very intelligent and we really appreciate his expertise and we really appreciate his opinions."
