Pearl Jam return to European festival circuit

Rockers Pearl Jam are to play their first European festival performances since nine fans were trampled to death during the group's Roskilde performance in Denmark six years ago.

The group has joined Muse and Franz Ferdinand as the headliners at Britain's Reading and Leeds Festivals this summer.

Meanwhile, Pearl Jam will play their first UK show in six years on April 20 at London's Astoria.
