Beats Festival line-up announced
Fun Lovin' Criminals are among the headliners at this year's 2006 Budweiser Global Beats Festival to be held over the May Bank Holiday Week in Limerick.
Other artists who will play at 14 venues across the city are Mr Scruff, David Holmes, Colombian salsa legends Sexeto Café and Norman Jay.
Fun Lovin' Criminals will play on Sunday, April 30. Their gig, originally scheduled for King John’s Castle will now take place in the Trinity Rooms due to logistical difficulties with the King John’s Castle site. Tickets for original venue are still valid and tickets for the new venue are on sale now at Ticketmaster outlets nationwide.
There are more than 25 free music events, daily free workshops with major international figures in the worlds of dance and world music and a selection of high-profile DJs and bands.
A full list of venues, workshops and activities for Budweiser Global Beats, which takes place as part of Limerick’s Riverfest Festival from April 27 to May 1 will be announced at www.budweiserglobalbeats.com on Tuesday, April 4.
