No Irish date in Madonna's world tour

It appears Irish Madonna fans wishing to see the performer live this year will have to travel to the UK to do so.

The veteran singer today announced the dates of her new Confessions tour, promising to "turn the world into one big dance floor", but there’s no mention of any Irish venue in her schedule

The world tour begins in Los Angeles on May 21 and includes two shows in London, as well as her first performance in Wales, at Cardiff’s Millenium Stadium

The tour will also include dates in Paris, Amsterdam, Rome, Dusseldorf, Hanover, Horsens in Denmark, Osaka and Tokyo.
