Moby: Ditch musicians and get electric

Dance star Moby insists the music scene has improved immeasurably since real instruments have been replaced by computer wizardry.

The Natural Blues hitmaker's enthusiasm for electronics - which cut out the need for musicians - will upset guitar-slingers everywhere, but he claims it is the way forward.

He says: "On my records I'm the composer, the musician and the engineer.

"Now we have virtuoso computer programmers and electronic drummers and great records are being made."
