Dillon gives great performance as flawed writer

Factotum (Icon, €21.99) brings Matt Dillon to our screens yet again, this time as Henry Chinaski, whose spare time, when not chasing women, drinking and gambling, is spent writing stories, except publishers don’t want to know.

Dillon is perfect as the rootless Chinaski whose observations on life are unusual and pithy.
