Creepy horror full of nasty surprises
The Ordeal (Tartan, €21.99), is a wild, scary story of dementia to the nth degree.
Stevens (Laurent Lucas) finds himself taken in by a stranger when his van breaks down, but kindness soon takes a horrific turn when his benefactor turns jailer. There are shades of darkness in abundance here, reminiscent of some of the best horrors, so prepare for some nasty surprises. Really creepy.
