R&B superstar Mary J Blige is praying for fellow singer Whitney Houston, following recent reports about the I Will Always Love You hitmaker's alleged addiction to crack cocaine.
Earlier this month, reformed drug addict Blige urged Houston to face up to her alleged addictions and said the singer wouldn't be able to get clean until she admitted she had a problem.
On Wednesday, Houston's sister-in-law Tina Brown told British newspaper The Sun and US tabloid the National Enquirer her fears that Houston would die if she did not overcome her addiction to crack.
Blige says: "I'm saddened by the whole thing. Whitney is technically the best vocalist in the business.
"Whitney can come through. I have every faith that she will make a breakthrough. I'm just praying for her now."
