Cleveland rejects Anderson KFC ad
A controversial new People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals television commercial featuring Pamela Anderson will not be shown in Cleveland, Ohio.
The commercial, which targets fast food giant KFC for its poor treatment of chickens earmarked for slaughter, has been rejected by every TV station which serves the American city because of its gruesome footage.
In the ad, which depicts the living and dying conditions of poultry, Anderson says: "I'm asking people to boycott KFC until the company demands that its suppliers stop crippling chickens and scalding them alive.
"No animals should have to suffer this way, whether they're cats or dogs or chickens."
