Simpsons come to life

Animated TV show The Simpsons will come to life in a new series - with human lookalikes playing the dysfunctional family.

A live-action scene will open the new Fox show on Sunday night.

The show's executive producer Al Jean says: "I'm just amazed there are people who want to be known for looking like the Simpsons."

The cartoon's memorable opening shots, including Bart writing on a school chalkboard and Maggie and Marge in the supermarket, were created by a team from British network Sky One.
