Princely paint job annoys landlord

Prince is in trouble with his landlord. He has caused a ruckus by painting his rented house in his favourite colour, purple.

The star is leasing an $11.9m (€9.9m) Hollywood home from basketball player Carlos Boozer, who is angry that Prince painted the title of his new album, as well as his infamous symbol, on the outside wall.

What’s more, he had a new monogrammed carpet installed.

The Smoking Gun website uncovered legal papers showing Boozer had sued but that the case had been dismissed.

Still, Prince’s rental agreement apparently continues until the end of May and Boozer is allowed to sue again on the same grounds.
