Colombian pop superstar Shakira is set to be honoured with a giant steel statue in her hometown of Barranquilla.

Colombian pop superstar Shakira is set to be honoured with a giant steel statue in her hometown of Barranquilla.

The mammoth construction is rumoured to be five metres high (16 feet) and is expected to arrive by boat tomorrow.
