British actor Daniel Craig insists he didn't feel like James Bond until his co-star Dame Judi Dench ordered him to become 007.

British actor Daniel Craig insists he didn't feel like James Bond until his co-star Dame Judi Dench ordered him to become 007.

The 37-year-old is so in awe the Oscar-winning actress - who took over the role of 'M' in 1995's Goldeneye - he had no choice but to slip into the role of the suave superspy.

He tells MTV: "The scenes with Judi - doing those M scenes. She's redefined M since she's been playing the role.

"Once we were doing those, she literally gave me the order to go out and be Bond."
