Veteran actor Sean Connery has undergone an operation to remove a tumour from his kidney, it emerged today.

Veteran actor Sean Connery has undergone an operation to remove a tumour from his kidney, it emerged today.

The Edinburgh-born star was operated on by a team of specialists at a private hospital in New York a few weeks ago and is now back at his home in the Bahamas.
