The Hills Have Eyes - don't go there

The Hills Have Eyes

Director: Alexandre Aja

Cast: Aaron Seaford, Vinessa Shaw, Kathleen Quinlan

When, in a horror film, somebody warns the characters not to leave the main road you know, sure as shootin', that that's exactly what they're going to do. Some people, eh?

So in this yarn, which boasts Wes Craven as one of the writers, we meet a retired cop and his family - on a cross-America journey - who stray into the desert and meet, as you might, a bunch of psycho murderers. Stupid people really do ask for it, don't they?

It's a quite ordinary horror, nothing that hasn't been done before, and much better. If we tell you not to go see it, you might just go!
