Singer Boy George has been fined $1,000 (€838) and ordered to attend a drug treatment programme today after admitted wasting police time in New York last year.

Singer Boy George has been fined $1,000 (€838) and ordered to attend a drug treatment programme today after admitted wasting police time in New York last year.

The former Culture Club frontman was given a conditional discharge and a charge of possessing cocaine was dropped in a plea bargain at Manhattan Criminal Court.
