Abdul in hot water over airport cheat

Paula Abdul is in trouble again, after the American Idol judge sneaked past security at McCarran Airport in Las Vegas.

In a rush on her way to film a live show in Los Angeles, Abdul and a friend were whisked past security without being checked, leading to the passengers having to be re-screened once they landed.

Southwest Airlines are launching an internal investigation, which appears to focus more on the anonymous person who helped the ex-singer through the checkpoint.

Abdul is yet to release a statement to the press, but the trouble comes hot on the heels of the accusation that she slept with a contestant on mega-hit American Idol. Another internal investigation by Fox in that case decided she didn’t act inappropriately.
