The White Stripes duo Jack and Meg White are set to appear in a jazz-themed episode of cartoon phenomenon The Simpsons.

The My Doorbell hitmakers first expressed interest in the comic series in 2003, and will now be the stars of an episode entitled Jazzy and the Pussycats.
