The Matador is full of laughs

South of the border and businessman Kinnear meets low-life hitman Brosnan in a hotel bar.
But the hitman seems to have lost interest in his chosen profession and enlists the businessman’s help in his next job.
It’s the customary plotline of opposites attracting: Brosnan the womanising, foul-mouthed drunk, Kinnear the ‘proper’ businessman. It’s played for laughs, plenty of them hitting the mark, though the central characters aren’t really the sort of guys you’d willingly chat to in a bar.
