Showbiz stars including former Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker today condemned London Mayor Ken Livingstone’s suspension as an “outrage against democracy”.

Turner Prize-winner Jeremy Deller, poet Michael Rosen, artist Ralph Steadman and actress Susan Woolridge have also signed a letter of support.
