This Life enjoys DVD release

This Life Series 1 & 2 box set (BBC, €74.99) was one of the better TV drama series from Britain a decade ago, capturing the loves, heartbreaks, career hopes and ambitions of a group of professional friends in their twenties.

Mixing good plots and sharp, often humourous writing, it also benefited from some strong casting — Daniela Nardini, Andrew Lincoln and Jack Davenport, for example.
