Ian Brown has been confirmed to play Dublin Castle on Sunday April 30, 2006 as part of this year's Heineken Green Energy Festival.

Dublin's Republic of Loose have been confirmed as special guest to Ian Brown.

The ex-Stone Roses man was honoured at last night's ShockWaves NME Awards.

He was awarded his Godlike Genius Award.
