Brosnan cuts gay scenes despite Brokeback success
Former James Bond star Pierce Brosnan remains convinced the bisexual scenes in his new movie The Matador should stay cut - despite the outstanding success of gay cowboy romance Brokeback Mountain.
Brosnan, who almost backed out of the role altogether after suffering a confidence crisis, and his wife Keely Shaye Smith were both concerned the original script contained too many overtly gay sexual scenes before the actor decided to make some changes.
