Jagger visits son at school

Mick Jagger took time out from The Rolling Stones' South American tour to surprise his son at his school in Sao Paulo, Brazil, yesterday.

The Gimme Shelter icon was dumped by Jerry Hall, his wife of almost 25 years, in 1999 when Brazilian model Luciana Gimenez revealed she was pregnant with his son Lucas.

Jagger, 62, spent time with the six-year-old at the exclusive English-speaking St Paul's school two days after playing to more than two million fans on Rio de Janeiro's Copacabana beach.

However, the rock star's arrival was followed by an influx of fans and photographers to the rich suburb housing St John's, and a tearful Lucas was rushed away in a car accompanied by his mother. Jagger was sped away shortly after as he prepared to make the journey to the band's next show in Argentina.
