Roberts pays millions for Malibu plot

Julia Roberts has spent $20m (€16.8m) on a vast plot of land on the California coast, the first step towards building the house of her dreams.

The Pretty Woman star is spending a further $610,000 (€513,000) to have a secluded mansion built on the land in Malibu.

Roberts, husband Danny Moder, and their twins toddlers Hazel Patricia and Phinnaeus Walter also have a home in New Mexico.
