Katona cautioned after admitting assault

Celebrity Kerry Katona admitted assault today following a fracas with a woman in a nightclub.

The former Atomic Kitten singer was embroiled in the catfight at Panama Jacks in Warrington, Cheshire, last weekend.

She was arrested today and accepted a formal caution for common assault.

A spokeswoman for Cheshire Constabulary said: “A 25-year-old woman from Warrington was today arrested and administered a formal adult caution for common assault, in relation to an incident that occurred at Panama Jacks on the night of Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th of February.”

It is believed the other woman knew Katona, who split from ex-Westlife singer husband Brian McFadden in 2004, through her foster parents.
