Late reggae legend Bob Marley's home in Kingston, Jamaica, has been declared a national monument.

Officials made the announcement this week to coincide with would have been Marley's 61st birthday.

Although the One Love singer's home has been turned into the Tuff Gong International Music Studio, it still attracts thousands of Marley fans every year.

Marley died in Florida in 1981 of cancer.
