Gallagher running up council complaints

Oasis star Liam Gallagher could receive a noise abatement order from his local council following a string of complaints from neighbours.

But rather than silencing his outspoken comments or furious partying, it is Gallagher's running machine that could be switched off if angry residents near his plush home in the British capital's Primrose Hill district get their way.

One neighbour, who lives in the apartment below the Wonderwall singer, tells British newspaper The Sun: "It is not very rock and roll but it is making our lives a nightmare all the same.

"He spends hours each week on the machine, and it's so loud you can barely hear yourself think.

"When he gets on it the walls start to shake. You can hear everything. There is the constant thud of him jogging.

"Sometimes it has got so bad that bulbs have fallen out of my chandelier."
