Johansson denies Archer romance

Scarlett Johansson has rubbished rumours she is enjoying romantic liaisons with Hard-Fi frontman Richard Archer.

The Match Point star was widely reported to have met the British rocker while filming in London, prompting a fiery romance - but she insists she has never even met the star.

She says: "It's not even anywhere close to being true. I've never met him, and until all this started, I'd never even heard of him."

Johansson is currently dating actor Josh Harnett.
