A good, if flawed, adventure yarn in which brothers (Bobo and Hutcherson) pass the time playing an old board game and, wait for it, get zapped into outer space, there to meet heroes, villains and other assorted characters and perils.

And they must play their way home to safety.

There is no plot as such but the stream of set-pieces does keep the action flowing and the interest keen.
