The Sugababes are set to make their first Irish performance with new member Amelle Berrabah at the Meteor Ireland Music Awards at The Point on Thursday, February 2.

The event will be broadcast on Network 2 television at 9pm on Sunday, February 5.

Amelle joined Keisha and Heidi at the beginning of the year after Mutya took the decision to leave the band due to personal commitments.

This will be the first Irish performance from the new line up of the UK’s biggest girl band.

The Sugababes will join The Darkness, Westlife, Jamie Cullum, Bell X1, Damien Dempsey, Republic of Loose and The Pogues at the awards ceremony.

Seventeen Meteor Ireland Music Awards will be presented.

Music fans are encouraged to vote for their favourite star or band in the six public categories.

The Hope for 2006 Award will be voted for by 2FM listeners while the remaining awards will be decided by the votes cast by representatives of the Irish music industry.
