Snipes stars in original hip-hop classic

Wesley Snipes, Ice-T and Chris Rock made their breakthrough in Mario Van Peebles excellent hip hop gangster film which took an uncompromising look at the New York crack cocaine scene of the eighties.

Now New Jack City Special Edition (Warner, €24.99) is available in a fine two-disc edition which looks at the rise and fall of drug lord Nino Brown (Snipes).
