Doherty on drug charges

Singer Pete Doherty was today charged with four counts of possessing drugs.

The 26-year-old Babyshambles frontman faces charges for possessing heroin, crack cocaine, morphine and cannabis.

Doherty will appear at Thames magistrates’ court in London this afternoon.
