Smashing Pumpkins to reform?

Billy Corgan's desperate attempts to reform his band Smashing Pumpkins have reportedly paid off, with the band rumoured to be playing this April's Coachella festival in California.

Tonight Tonight hitmaker Corgan began his campaign last June when he famously took out an advert in US newspaper the Chicago Tribune revealing his desire to reunite the group - who split in 2000.
