Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love's daughter Frances Bean has no respect for her rock heritage - she wants Mariah Carey to perform at her 16th birthday party.

Despite her late father being the most influential rock musician of his generation, the 13-year-old insists she shares her cultural taste with every other girl her age.

In an interview with i-D magazine, Frances Bean lists her favourite shows as Laguna Beach and American Idol and professes her love for Honey hitmaker Carey.
