Chanel dresses Reese in three-year-old design

Reese Witherspoon’s people are howling at the tragedy that beset the actress at the Golden Globes this week.

Red-carpet disaster struck when it emerged that the dress worn by Witherspoon was the same as one worn by Kirsten Dunst at an after-show party three years ago.

To the rest of the world this doesn’t matter, but in Hollywood it’s nothing short of a catastrophe. People will actually lose sleep.

The dress-maker, Chanel, has felt the fury of Witherspoon’s rep, Nancy Ryder, who is apparently vowing that Witherspoon will never wear Chanel again.
