Thurman says rebound relationship is working

Despite the fact that they appeared to be on/off, Uma Thurman has revealed that her and boyfriend Andre Balazs are very much on.

The 35-year-old actress has given an interview to InStyle magazine praising her relationship with the hotelier, even though it is on the rebound.

Balazs is her first proper boyfriend since the break-up of her marriage to Ethan Hawke, the father of her two children.

“Everyone constantly taunts you that rebound relationships aren’t a good idea and that they don’t work,” says the star. “But mine is working, surprisingly.”

While Thurman has nothing but praise for the Frenchman, she takes a sly dig at her former hubby, who was accused of cheating on her and causing the split.

“Something that was constructed got unconstructed,” she admits.

“But I feel grateful that the hard things have been survivable – I’ve been able to learn from them and grow.”
