O'Toole film delayed for hip replacement
Shooting on Peter O'Toole's new movie Venus has been delayed for three weeks while the veteran actor receives treatment for a broken hip.
The 73 suffered the injury during a fall on December 26. He was immediately admitted to hospital for a hip replacement.
Filming will recommence on Monday January 23, three weeks behind schedule.
Venus sees O'Toole in his first lead role in more than 20 years. He plays an ageing actor whose life is turned around by a brash teenager.
