Glitter on trial next month for obscene acts with girls

Former British rocker Gary Glitter is expected to go on trial in southern Vietnam late next month, accused of committing obscene acts with two girls aged 10 and 11, officials said today.

“We are considering the case,” said Ta Quoc Viet, head of the Criminal Court in Ba Ria Vung Tau province. “We expect to put him on trial in the second half of next month.”
