Kapranos labels Gallagher a 'girl'

Franz Ferdinand singer Alex Kapranos has branded outspoken Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher a "neurotic girl" in response to the rocker's bitter attacks on British groups last year.

Gallagher dismissed the Scottish art school band as "Right said fred on the Atkins diet", simply because he doesn't like "quirky, weird music".
